How do I find my Academic Supervisor?

If you have tried searching for their name in the search box and it does not appear, it means they have not yet registered on Phoenix. Please ask them to log into: https://researchethics.leeds.ac.uk/ - once they done so, you will be able to locate their name in the search box.

I can’t share my application with my research team member – I can’t find them in the system?

If they are part of the University of Leeds staff/researchers, please ask them to log into https://researchethics.leeds.ac.uk/. Unfortunately, if they are a collaborator from outside of the University of Leeds, you will have to share the application by downloading a PDF of the application form.

My supervisor can't sign my form

Check which permissions you gave them when you shared the application. If you have given ALL permissions, they will not be able to sign as your supervisor, as the system thinks they are a collaborator. Reduce the permissions by unselecting all except 'Read' and 'Write'. This will allow them to sign your application form.
